Movie Review - Run, Fatboy, Run

Director: David Schwimmer
Cast: Simon Pegg, Dylan Moran, Thandie Newton, Hank Azaria, Harish Patel
Plot: A chunky, clueless guy leaves his pregnant fiancée on their wedding day only to discover, 5 years later, that she is his one true love. But in order to win back her heart, he looks to finish his first marathon while making her realise her new man is the wrong guy for her.

I can sum this up in 2 words...FUCKING BRILLIANT!! I just got back from watching the advanced screening of this movie and it's already in my Top 10 movies ever. Run, Fatboy, Run is just plain brilliant. Full of laughs and yet serious moments..I just about spat out water on the couple in front of me because I needed to laugh so hard. My friend and I even cried with laughter at one scene. If a movie can make me do that, then it's well worth watching. Believe me. I take my hat off to David Schwimmer. His directing was brilliant. Simon Pegg's re-write = CLASS! Dylan and Simon shine as a comedy duo. I highly recommend watching this movie. It gets a 10/10 from me and I'm sure others will love it too.

Offical Run, Fatboy, Run site can be viewed here and you can view one of the trailers (my fav one) on this very blog...below. ENJOY!!

Movie Review - Pirates of The Caribbean: At World's End

Director: Gore Verbinski
Cast: Johnny Depp, Geoffrey Rush, Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley, Bill Nighy, Chow-Yun Fat, Jack Davenport, Kevin McNally and Tom Hollander
Plot: Barbossa, Will, Elizabeth, Tia Delma, and crew set out to rescue Jack from Davey Jones locker so they can call the Pirate Lords from the four corners of the globe, including the infamous Sao Feng, to a gathering in an attempt to come up with a plan to defeat Lord Cutler Beckett, who himself has control of Jones' heart and has formed a dark alliance with him in order to rule the seas and wipe out the last of the Pirates. The Pirate Lords want to release the goddess Calypso, Davey Jones's damned lover, from the trap they sent her to out of fear, in which the Pirate Lords must combine the 9 pieces that bound her by ritual to undo it and release her in hopes that she will help them fight. With this, all pirates will stand together and will make their final stand for freedom against Beckett, Jones, Norrington, the Flying Dutchman, and the entire East India Trading Company.

People who know me know I love Pirates of The Caribbean but now they need to know that I want to MARRY Pirates of The Caribbean! I loved this movie. Packed full of action and good storylines, it kept me gripped all the way through. I will admit that it started off a wee bit slow but it soon picked up. I liked the fact that some of the old characters from the first movie had turned up again. I was a little disappointed they were missing from the second movie but it was no biggy.
I would urge everyone to see this movie. It is a long movie and thank god for the 10 minute break in it that our cinema had. The end of the movie leaves so many unanswered questions, which I hope will lead to a fourth. My only concern would be them making a fourth and it would be too much. I'll be keeping my eyes peeled to see how it all pans out. I give this movie a rating of 10/10 =)

Movie Review - Spider-man 3

Director: Sam Raimi
Cast: Toby Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, James Franco, Thomas Haden Church, Topher Grace and James Cromwell.
Plot: Peter Parker has finally managed to piece together the once-broken parts of his life, maintaining a balance between his relationship with Mary-Jane and his responsibility as Spider-Man. But more challenges arise for our young hero. Peter's old friend Harry Obsourne has set out for revenge against Peter; taking up the mantle of his late father's persona as The New Goblin, and Peter must also capture Uncle Ben's real killer, Flint Marko, who has been transformed into his toughest foe yet, the Sandman. All hope seems lost when suddenly Peter's suit turns jet-black and greatly amplifies his powers. But it also begins to greatly amplify the much darker qualities of Peter's personality that he begins to lose himself to. Peter has to reach deep inside himself to free the compassionate hero he used to be if he is to ever conquer the darkness within and face not only his greatest enemies, but also himself.

This movie was brilliant! One I know I will go into see again in the very near future. This third instalment in the Spiderman story is by far the best. In my opinion, it's far better than the second movie. The second movie was full of action and I do have to say...a little too much action. The third movie centers more around the story but at the same time has the perfect amount of action. Not too much and not too little. It answers a lot of questions to how Peter and MJ are handling things in their relationship and it also leaves you hanging on with questions and ideas running around in your head as to what could happen if another instalment was to happen. There has been talk that this was the final in the story. I sure hope not! It's been left open for an even bigger storyline in a 4th instalment, and with the idea of new plotlines talked about on the car journey home between my friend and I, it would be a killer movie! Tobey Maguire gives another perfect disply of acting in his role as Spiderman, with Kirsten Dunst and James Franco near enough equal with him. This really is a movie you need to see on the big screen. Get ticket buying, people! I give this movie a 91/2 out of 10.

Movie Review: Night at the Museum

I wasn't really sure I would like this movie. I am not much for comedies, and the trailors made it seem like a movie more for children. We bought it this past weekend and I am so glad that we did.
Larry, played by Ben Stiller, is a divorced father who has never finished anything he starts. He can't hold a steady job and is constantly having to move due to evictions. Because of this, it is causing turmoil between him and his son. He goes to a temp agency and they refer him to the Museum to take a job as the night watch man. His first night working there, every thing in the museum comes to life. The movie is extremely funny. Robin Williams, Dick Van Dyke, and Mickey Rooney play in this movie.
My daughter found this movie funny and stayed up and watched the whole movie. It is a great movie for all ages. Between the wild, humourous antics that each character in the museum does, to the morals and story line between Larry and his son. There is also a little bit of a love story. There are a few lessons that the movie teaches.
I recommend this movie to people of all ages. I enjoyed it and will enjoy watching it again with my family.

Movie Review - Hot Fuzz

Hot Fuzz
Directed by: Edger Wright
Written by: Edger Wright, Simon Pegg
Staring: Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Bill Nighy and Jim Broadbent
Plotline: Nicholas Angel is the finest cop London has to offer. He's so good, he makes everyone else look bad. As a result, Angel's superiors send him to a place where his talents won't be quite so embarrassing - the sleepy and seemingly crime-free village of Sandford. Once there, he is partnered with the well-meaning but overeager police officer Danny Butterman, who is a huge action movie fan and believes his new big-city partner might just be a real-life "bad boy," and his chance to experience the life of gunfights and car chases he so longs for. As a series of grisly accidents rocks the village, Angel is convinced that Sandford is not what it seems and he's out to clean up the mess.

This movie is made by the same guys who brought us Shaun of the Dead and if you've seen that movie then you'll LOVE Hot Fuzz. This movie is full of laughs, car chases, gunfights and twists. It's a must see for any comedy fan. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost don't disappoint the audience with their acting and comedy skills. There's not one wooden performance. Which makes it all the more watchable because you don't get bored half way through. I thought with the movie being 2 hours long that I would be praying for the end to come. In fact...I was praying for it to never end. I loved it. The only negative thing I can say about the movie is that there's too much of the fast sequence scenes that were made famous in Shaun of the Dead. I felt a few of them werent needed but I didn't let that cloud my judgement on the movie as a whole.

Highly enjoyable and most likely to become a cult success as Shaun of the Dead became. So enjoyable that I'm going into see it for a second time next week!! I'd give this movie a rating of 9/10

80's Movies

Just thought I would post a scene from one of my all time favourite movies called Beetlejuice. Made in 1988 and directed by Tim Burton, starring Michael Keaton, Geena Davis, Alec Baldwin and Winona Ryder, this movie keeps you in laughs from start to finish.

It's about a couple who have recently died and their struggle to come to terms with the family from New York who have bought their house and changed everything. They contact a bio-exorcist called Beetlejuice in an attempt to rid their new england farmhouse of the yuppie family, The Deetzs. This is one movie I love Michael Keaton in and it's blasphemy if you've not yet seen it. Watch this clip and then head out to the nearest store that sells dvds and BUY IT! If you dont like my recommendation of the movie, then come back and let me know and I'll eat my e-words. Enjoy

*EDIT on 29th Aug 2007: Vid changed due to other vid no longer being on youtube

An evening with Derek Acorah

My Valentines was spent at a show called An evening with Derek Acorah, who happens to be a spirit medium here in the UK. I've never been to a night like this before and I have to say..I was impressed. He got information spot on with everyone he talked with. Just a shame he never had a message for me.

Here is the program that was for sale before the show and afterwards Derek did a signing with anyone who happened to want to wait (tick tock, tick tock) over 30 minutes. I couldn't talk that night. I had lost my voice, which seemed to please a lot of people, so all my talking had to be done by my mother.

I did, however, manage to take my own pictures of him. If no one had gone to a show like this, then you should. I know it's not for everyone but if you believe in spirit mediums, then it's something you'll enjoy. You never know..you might get a message from a loved one who has crossed over.

My only rant about the whole night is the people who happen to go along and either don't answer the medium when he offers information to find the person who the message is for OR for the people who are lucky enough to get a message and just dont seem interested at all. I can't understand why they go if they know there's a chance he could be speaking about your loved one and they say fuck all about it. This happened a lot and it only holds up other people from having the chance of a message.

EDIT:When I said they just dont seem interested at all and wouldn't speak up - There was the women who annoyed Derek (see below)She didn't speak up after him asking her to 3 or 4 times. He was telling her things from this spirit and she was telling him "yes" "maybe" "could be". If that's the case and things arent fitting right, then she should speak up and tell him that it's not fitting right. He would either have offered her more information or tried to find the actual relative that the message is for.
Edit 2:He was calling for someone who might have had a little clue as to who would have been here to send a message. One case of a reading was that he spent 15 minutes trying to find the person who it could have been and no one said anything. Then just as he was about to ask the spirit to leave, someone piped up saying "It's me" Why did it take 15 minutes for them to say it could have been them. He was offering the same information over and over again. Yet it took someone 15 minutes to say that it was them. It was a message from their Dad. It's not like you're going to forget about your own Dad who died just 9 years before.

One women was totally stupid and she annoyed Derek enough that he just gave up. I don't blame him, to be honest. If you're going to pay £15+ for a ticket, then at least put it to good use! I'll be going back for another show if there happens to be one. Might get a message from my Dad or I might not be so lucky at all. It's a 50/50 chance.

24 Season 6 Leaked episodes

It came to my attention a few days ago that 4 of the new episodes of season 6 of 24 were leaked. That's when every 24 fan started going crazy and downloading them. For days Ive been upset that I couldnt download them. So today I went on the hunt for a website that would allow me to watch the episodes without having to download them (I also found a site that would allow me to watch Lost this way)...

After much searching, I came across a site that answered all my prayers!

For the past 4 hours, I've sat and watched the single most fucking amazing thing in this world. Take my word for it..this season of 24 is a must watch for anyone. Episode 4 is the best episode of 24 I have ever watched and I've watched them all! If that episode is anything to go by, then the rest of the season is going to beat everything they've ever made so far. I'm not going to link the site on here. For my own reasons and because I was asked not to but if anyone reading this wants the link to the website, then please send me a message and I will gladly help you out. I believe its 3 more days till 24 airs in the states and the UK wont be all that far behind in showing this season on Sky One. If you're like me and dont have Sky, then this site will help solve that problem. I'm hoping that it will update with new episodes as they hit the states.

I just have to say this again...ITS FUCKING AMAZING!

Book Review

Most people outside the UK most likely wont know who Peter Kay is..well I'm here to tell you all about the comedian from Bolton, UK. He has written an autobiography of his life and people will be surprised to learn that its not your usual "..and this horrid thing happened in my life" or "I came to the end of the road and had to be picked up by...." Not that usual stuff (although I'm not saying those types of autobiographies are not worth reading. I've read a few in my time and enjoyed them as much as Peter Kay's book, and I own a few)

Peter Kay centers more on the funny sides of his life. There are a few death stories mentioned but all are talked about in the happier times of that persons life or by talking about the Right Said Fred tune his dog died to. This autobiography kept me in laughs all the way through. He talks about all the jobs he was fired from, the reasons, the funny sides to all his jobs and how a lie on an application form for University finally helped him become the comedian he is today. I highly recommend this book to everyone. Even people outside the UK. I'm sure anyone will laugh at his life story. I give this a rating of 9/10. I'll be re-reading this again once I've read through the 7 James Patterson books I got for christmas !!

WARNING: WATCHING THIS MOVIE MAY BE DETRIMENTAL TO YOUR HEALTH!

The movie in question? BTK Killer. Don't ever watch it. PLEASE. For the love of God, don't watch it. It has got to be THE worst movie I've ever had the misfortune to watch. I cannot believe people make this kind of shit. I could have done better with my mobile phone and a cast of monkeys, untrained that is.

It had the makings of a great horror movie. Based on a true story, from what I can remember, the BTK killer was a total psycho, wasn't caught for years and years. And the inaccuracies in this movie were unbelievable. I actually sat through the first "torture" scene, and with his name meaning "bind, torture, kill", I thought, oooh this should be great! I could not believe the scene was over. Where was the torture? Whoa, she got a rat shoved in her mouth. OMG TORTURE!!!!!!!!! I pretty much turned the movie off after that. Oh I perservered for about another 10 minutes, but I could not tolerate it anymore. What the fuck does an abbatoir have to do with the BTK? In real life, NOTHING! The guy that directed it was the same guy that directed Boogeyman, and although that wasn't a great film, it was watchable nonetheless. This one looks like it's been shot using the same kind of film they used in cheap 80's porn movies.

So "do yourself a favour" and don't waste 90 minutes of your life watching this claptrap. Rent or buy something decent. Do what I did and rent a good horror movie you haven't seen for a while. Like Blair Witch 1 and 2. Or even Candyman. But DO NOT WATCH THIS FILM!!!!!!!

Mean Creek - Movie Review

Directed by Jacob Aaron Estes

Staring:
Rory Culkin - Sam
Trevor Morgan - Rocky
Scott Mechlowicz - Marty
Ryan Kelley - Clyde
Carly Schroeder - Millie
Josh Peck - George

5 kids set off for an afternoon boating trip but all is not as it seems. A plan has been set to teach the bully of the group a lesson he wont forget. After a change of heart, a few try to overturn the plan but things take a dramatic twist. One they'll never forget.

I bought Mean Creek at the same time as I bought my Nightmare on Elm Street collectors boxset and Family Guy. The movie has been classed as Deliverance meets Stand by Me (by Total Film magazine), and with that in mind, I really did think I would end up disappointed. The movie starts off good. Giving you the storyline on the reason for the kids plan. Keeping you informed about the characters background in a way that's not too overwhelming I was beginning to think maybe it was worth the statement by Total Film but then the ending was downfall. It would have been good to know what happened with a couple of the characters but in a way I guess it's the way to keep you thinking about it. Overall..it's a good movie and worth watching at least once to see the events take fold. Kickingupastorm rating for it shall be 6/10

Rudebox

The much awaited album from Robbie Wliiams has arrived!!

Rudebox hit the UK stores today and although I dont always buy an album on release day, I headed out to ASDA and grabbed a copy.
I think you'll agree that £8.78 is a good price to buy an album (album with special features cost £14.99)

Here's a list of the songs featured:

-Rudebox
-Viva Life on Mars
-Lovelight
-Bongo Bong and Je Ne T'aime Plus
-She's Madonna
-Keep On
-Good Doctor
-The Actor
-Never Touch That Switch
-Louise
-We're The Pet Shop Boys
-Burslem Normals
-Kiss me
-The 80's
-The 90's
-Summertime

All the songs I've listened to so far are brilliant. A lot of people have said that it's a strange Robbie sound and that it wont work but I think if he releases the good songs off the album, people will love it and he'll continue to grow. Robbie has done a lot in his career and this is just a chance for him to see what other talent he has. I already liked Lovelight. Now I'm digging Kiss Me, The 80's and 90's and Rudebox has grown slowly on me. It's a must for every Robbie Williams fan. And here's a little something extra for all you fans. We've got a Rudebox designer page for you to play about with and on Amazon have a little vid clip of backstage goings on during his recent tour.

The big book review

Whats the one thing you can do when you've got no computer and no access to the internet? Masturbation, I hear you say? WRONG. You read books. Lots of them. I went on a shopping spree of books while I was offline. Which leads me to the post topic. A big book review.

To give some people an idea of book reviews I've already done, I've found the links to them. (just incase someone might be interested) So far I've reviewed Richard Laymon, Patricia Cornwell and Jack Kerley.

I don't know why I havent reviewed this next authors books before. I read one awhile back and loved every chapter. From then on, I got hooked. James Patterson has a way of writing that just draws me in from chapter one. That's how I managed to get through a few of his books while offline for those 2 weeks. So starts my big book review. Enjoy!

Beach Road: This title starts with the rape of a young black girl: Nikki Robinson is cleaning the mansion on Beach Road owned by the Merrick family, when the owner's son assaults her. Then, three teenage boys are shot dead on the beach - one is Michael Merrick, and one of the black kids accused of the murders is Nikki's half-brother, Eli. Defending them isn't going to be easy. No witness to the murders can be found. The rich local community don't want any murky secrets revealed about life in the Hamptons. And Tom and Kate, the two lawyers working on the case, haven't exactly been on good terms since their affair broke up.
My Review: This is the book that got me hooked. So many twists and turns that keep you begging for more, which makes you read as much chapters as you can. It's hard to put down. James Patterson tends to make each chapter, in every book, about 2-3 pages long. Which in my mind makes it so easy to keep reading. The amount of different characters in this book does not confuse you. It starts off by telling you who each character is. Then it carries the story really well. It's a must read if the you manage to get your hands on a copy.

Mary, Mary: Hollywood's most famous stars are being murdered one by one. The killer is known only as Mary Smith. Is Mary really a woman? Or just someone playing the part? With the LAPD and FBI clueless, it's up to Alex Cross to track down the truth
My Review: I bought this in a sale and I thought it might have been a bad idea. It's the 11th book in the Alex Cross series. The first two books became movies that you might have heard of. (Along came a Spider and Kiss the Girls) With it being the 11th book, I thought I would be confused with the character of Alex Cross. How wrong I was. Dispite the mention of past story lines popping up here and there, I wasnt confused at all. You got to know the character and how he ticks and again, it kept me hooked. I read it in 2 days.

2nd Chance: A brutal madman sprays bullets into a crowd of children leaving a San Francisco church. Miraculously-or was it intentionally?-only one person dies. Then an elderly black woman is hung. Police homicide inspector Lindsay Boxer senses a connection and together with medical examiner Claire, assistant D. A. Jill, and Chronicle reporter Cindy, finds a link that sends a chill through the entire nation. This killer's motives are unspeakable.
My Review: Again, I thought I had made a mistake starting to read a book that was the 2nd in a series, and again, I was wrong lol. This is about The Women's Murder Club. Showing you that women can hold powerful roles in a story and in real life. I happened to find this book in my mum's collection and as Mary, Mary..I had it finished in 2 days. Kept me gripped from start to finish.

5th Horseman: A young mother is recuperating in a San Francisco hospital when she is suddenly gasping for breath. The call button fails to bring help in time. The hospital's doctors, some of the best in the nation, are completely mystified by her death. How did this happen?
My Review: As you can see, I have a habit of not caring which order I read the books in. This is the 5th installment of The Women's Murder Club. Need I say it again? It got me hooked and it was finished in less than 2 days. You're not lost in the story at all. You're never lost in the character stories either. Yet more proof that you need to get reading a James Patterson book.

Pop Goes The Weasel: Geoffrey Shafer, the Weasel, works in Intelligence in the British Embassy in D.C. He and three twisted friends play a Game of Death that involves unsuspecting women around the world.
My Review: This is the last review. I promise (for now) Another Alex Cross story. 5th in the series. I actually couldnt stop turning the pages. I needed to know how the killer was caught. So I ended up reading this book in a day. Yet again...easy to get into. Each chapter about 2-3 pages long. It's proof that the whole Alex Cross series of books have to be read from start to finish. I do have loads more books written by James Patterson, which I've not read yet. I will be talking about them on here when I've started and finished reading them.

Go out and buy a James Patterson book. You'll love them all. GO GO GO!

(My Review)

The Second Movie in the Four Part Ju-On Movie series came out on DVD here in America on October 10th 2006, I got it 5 days after it's release and watched it that night, and I still am lost in it, I will have to watch it a couple more times to fully get what the story is trying to tell us, This one tho is no way as good as The American Version The Grudge 2 less intense but as usual more detail and a better Ending more entising ending to say the least, The Curse spreads out of the house just like what you see in The Grudge 2 but more detail and much creepier, anyone who loves this series should rent or buy this DVD I'm glad I was able to find this released here in America so early.

The Grudge 2 (Ju-On 2)

Rating (PG-13 for mature thematic material, disturbing/images/terror/violence and some sensuality.)
Directed by (Takashi Shimizu)

(My Review)
First off let me state that When I went to see this movie it was very hard to do so, I went along with 2 friends first we went to a near by Theater got there 20 mins before the next showing at 8pm, but the line was long and this theater wasn't known for that kind of attention ever since I have been there, next showing after that was at 10pm, and it would have taken more than 20 mins to get to the front line, so we just went to the next theater near me witch had the 8pm showing already sold out, but we caught the 9:10pm showing there, after getting some Starbucks we went in at 8:30 to wait for the movie but found a huge line just to wait before we were aloud to get a seat lol, it was packed.

ok now to the movie, Continuing from the previous movie sara's character is back but for a short part before she passes on the star role to (Amber Tamblyn) who played her sister, This one brings you not only more SShocking and possible scary moments It brings you a bigger mystery that makes you keep guessing and thinking what will happen next, Not only does it continue where it left off, The Curse spreads out of the House no one knows if there is no end to this curse, The Grudge 2 definetly out does The Grudge and the Ending is even more of a shock in it's own factor. I saw nothing bad about this one, the first one had a few slow parts but this one It keeps you guessing, The Detail it went into, The fact that You have two Stories going on at once made it even more harder to guess what's going to happen next this movie was plain outstanding, This movie is so good I plan on going out to see it again, and when my brother gets back from out to sea I'm going to go and view it with him.

As I already posted My Review On the Remake of this Movie, I stated in The Grudge's Review There are some parts in The Grudge that are better but now lets talk about the parts in Ju-On that are better, for starters in the Origonal they went into strict Detail into what happened and even parts in this movie you see in Grudge 2 Granted the special effects wern't as great as The American Version but they were well done as well, makes you think twice when entering an abandon'ed house. I can't much say to much for those that might not have seen the japanese version without spoiling it, if you havn't you must cause you will see alot more than you seen in the american version.

Movie Review - The Grudge (2004)

(First off, This is going to be my first of Four Movie Reviews today and reason why I'm starting off with a Movie from 2004, well it's the first in the set of 4 movies, The Grudge, Ju-On, The Grudge 2, and Ju-On 2)

The Grudge (Ju-On)
Released (October 22, 2004)
Rating (PG-13 for mature thematic material, disturbing images, terror, violence and some sensuality.)
Directed by (Takashi Shimizu)
Starring (Sara Michelle Gellar, Jason Behr, William Mapother, Clea DuVall, KaDee Strickland)

(My Review)

Ok I know That there are so much critism about this movie
"It wasn't scary"
"It had Sara Michelle Gellar in it"

Reviews from some papers
(Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Bob Longingo
"Ultimately, it's a decent enough idea for a Halloween horror trick.")
(Boston Globne, Wesley Morris
"the movie feels like a salvo against the recent string of American Japonophila.")

Well I have also seen User reviews some liked it and some didn't some claim that Ju-On the Japanese version of this movie is better, Me I say it is in some ways but There is something about America and it's talent that can do that Japanese can't do so well, That's in it's Special Effects This movie isn't for the faint at heart, that don't mean that many will be scared from this movie, best way to see any horror movie is at the theaters, if you missed this at the theaters then You missed a great movie, only way to enjoy this movie is to turn up the surround sound turn the lights out and at night, and no one else is moving around

This movie is about a Curse That was Born upon a house in Japan and an american Caretaker gets assigned to take care of an elderly women at the house, This sets the story, but you quickly find out why it's a cursed house, a Grudge was set upon this house, a Relentless Grudge that kills everyone that it sets it's eye on, no one can escape this Grudge.

My Raiting - Overall (A)
Story - (A+)
Acting - (A)
Visual - (A+)
Direction - (A)
Scare Factor -(7/10)

Book review

Thirty years after his death, Marsden Hexcamp's ‘Art of the Final Moment’ remains as sought after as ever. But this is no ordinary collection. Hexcamp's portfolio was completed with the aid of a devoted band of acolytes – and half a dozen victims, each of whom was slowly tortured to death so that their final agonies could be distilled into art.
When tiny scraps of Hexcamp's ‘art’ begin appearing at murder scenes alongside gruesomely displayed corpses, Detective Carson Ryder and his partner Harry Nautilus must go back three decades in search of answers.
Meanwhile an auction has been announced and the death collectors are gathering. These wealthy connoisseurs of serial-killer memorabilia will pay millions to acquire Hexcamp's art – unless Carson and Harry can beat them in their quest for the anti-grail.

This book is fantastic. Written by the author Jack Kerley, and one in a series of Detective Carson Ryder stories, it kept me hooked. Although it took me awhile to read, (not because of the book and story itself but because of things going on with myself), every new chapter got me wanting more, and I must admit that sometimes the story did drag a little. With very little new information being told to you. Dispite this, I suggest that the next time you're looking for a book to read, pick up a copy of this. The story before this edition is called The Hundredth Man and from what I can gather, the next edition is called The Broken Souls. With another novel called A Garden of Vipers. I'll be buying The Hundredth Man this week. Jack Kerley has now taken place next to Patricia Cornwell in my must buy books.

all in one go

Ever tried something new and hated it? When Coke Zero came out here, I gave it a try and hated the taste but for some reason I now love it. Buy at least a bottle a day

great coke taste. zero sugar
It still can't beat diet coke!

With my Gran's brother being up for a holiday, I've not been spending much time with my gran. More so for the fact that he drives me bloody crazy. Example: We're going to my mum's tomorrow. He's never been there before and my gran told him that it can take an hour to get there (35 minutes when I'm driving). So he gets his map out to see which way to drive there. Now I had told him that he can follow me so he doesnt get lost. Upon him reading the map, he decided he knew how to get there better than me. Told me that I was wrong in my directions. Pisses me off, so he does or is it just old age rearing its ugly head and making me get pissed at everything these days?
