A question for every visitor!

After watching Dawn Of The Dead, Day Of The Dead and now the remake of Dawn Of The Dead, I decided to ask some of my fellow IRC users a question. Now I've decided to ask my fellow bloggers the very same question. I would be very grateful if you could leave me your replies. It's actually very interesting to find out what others would do. Here's the question:-

In bizaro world...say the dawn of the dead happened. Flesh eating zombies were attacking every city. People you've know all your life are now dead and killing people. Imagine you're in that situation...What would you do to survive? Would you save yourself or would you help others along the way? What would you do for food? Would you search for loved ones?

Here are some answers:-
(+phobos) whatever I had to
(+phobos) rule #1: aim for the head
(+phobos) rule #2: KILL INFECTED PEOPLE
(+phobos) rule #3: don't travel with cripples or people that can't fend for themselves
(@nenni) would you stay at home?
(+phobos) unless it was compromised or I learned of a safer area
(@nenni) if you did learn of a safer area, would you save others?
(+phobos) save others?
(+phobos) if they weren't going to slow me down
(+phobos) or if they were armed
(+phobos) anything that would increase my own chances for survival
(@nenni) what would you do for food?
(+phobos) you can safely assume that any zombie pandemic would be post-apocalyptic so I ain't worried about getting any heroic medals
(+phobos) depends where I end up
(+phobos) if I moved from my house, it would be someplace I would have vital necessities
(+phobos) a convenience store or something
(+phobos) the only thing you can really do is wait it out

(+Ratt) i'd probably end up just killing myself if it happened

(user) its an interesting question
(nenni) mhm
(user) find an island
(user) I bet zombies aint good swimmers
(nenni) lol
(nenni) would you save others?
(user) it depends if they would be usefull in defending my island fortress or not
(user) though friends and relatives I would

Who wants to see my new tattoo????

Too bad, you're all gonna see it!!!! :D:D:D
I LOVE IT! Didn't hurt a bit, I had to keep looking to make sure he was touching the skin! Hurt a tiny bit over the wrist bone, but only for a split second. I reckon he did a fantastic job! The picture really doesnt do it justice though. Oh well!

Fasting

Tomorrow at 9am I have to give blood to test the sugar in my blood. Which means fasting after 10pm the night before..

I would just like to say something..I'M SO FUCKING HUNGRY! I've been busy all day and not had much time to eat anything. My friends asked me around for dinner. I get there and they didnt wait for me. So I've had nothing to eat today, I cant drink any soda/juice. Water only and it's driving me insane. I felt the need to post this because I cant stop thinking about it! I have grilled steak noodles in the kitchen just begging to be cooked and eaten. I have diet coke at the side of my chair just calling my name for me to drink it. I dont think I can last . I'll need to head to bed early just to stop thinking about it. ARGH....this isnt fair =(

Horror Movies V4

I know it's soon after my last horror movie update but here are some more.
This is carrying on from previous posts Version 1, V2 and V3. Enjoy:-

Silent Hill: There's a Sean Bean interview to read here. Filming is just about finished. Then it'll enter post-production, where the special effects will be put in place.

Saw II: There's a new poster out for this, which can be viewed here and a new trailer, which can be viewed here.

I Am Legend: Now this I cant wait for! It's based on the Richard Matheson novel of the same name, which has already been told in two movies. The Last Man On Earth (1964) and The Omega Man (1971). I read this book when I was 13/14 and have loved it ever since. The book is about Robert Neville, the last living man on Earth and his survival against a world full of vampires. The movie is said to be an adaption, set in Los Angeles after a biological war, where a sole healthy survivor finds himself in a battle against nocturnal mutants. I love the idea of this. Having never seen the first two movies before or after reading the novel, I cant comment on them but I sure will have a comment after seeing this movie. It probably wont start filming till 2006. So I have a long wait. (all news and updates taken from upcominghorrormovies.com)

Horror Movies V3

So, it continues with more news. I did a search and found out about more horror movies either in talks or ones that didnt make it to the script stage. So we start off with :-

Blair Witch 3: This is a prequel of the first film and it's expected to set in 1786 where the legend originated. This film chronicles the events that led to the township of Blair driving an accused witch named Elizabeth Kedward into the woods, and the subsequent hauntings that plaqued the town for decades after her supposed death. My opinion...it'll most likely suck. As I've said before, I don't like most remakes and hate prequel movies even more. There's only ever been prequel movie that I've liked (if you could call it a prequel) and that was The Scorpion King. So if this does get off the ground, I think I'll wait to see it either on TV or at someone's house.

The Hills Have Eyes: This is a remake of Wes Craven's 1977 movie. The story follows a suburban American family who take a trip cross-country, but after their trailer breaks down in the New Mexico desert, they are preyed upon by a family of deformed hill people. This is set for a March 2006 release and some of the cast include Tom Bower, Ezra Buzzington and Dan Byrd

The Ring 3: There's no plot of this movie yet but the script is being worked on. It could go down the line of the Japanese version. In the third installment in the Japanese trilogy of Ringu, the third film was actually a prequel called Ring: 0, that details Sadako's life before her death. I've still yet to see The Ring 2 but I did like the first and now own it. With The Ring 2 being a sequel, I'm in no hurry to see it but I have been told it's good..We'll soon see. The Ring 3 maybe being a prequel...see above for my comment on those.

Now, while searching the website I get info from, I came across a section about horror movies that never happened. Some could still be made but talks have faulted or script writing has taken a break..I came across this:-

Freddy Vs Jason 2: According to an interview with Robert Englund, the man himself wanted to swing by a couple ideas to the execs which would possibly bring a couple other horror icons in the mix. Of course the project isn't happening anymore, but it's an interesting read as to what he had in mind. Read it all here

I didnt really see much of interest. I keep checking to bring you news of interest. I'll do my best to keep it up. Make sure to keep checking back! (all info is taken from upcominghorrormovies.com)

Take on life

Today, after getting a new car, I decided to go out driving. While driving about I stopped in by some old friends. I'm kind of wished I hadnt now.

Things always change in life. People change, situations change...I know this but you always cling to the thought that it'll be just how it was. Some of my friends have started taking more drugs than they did before and if you're not doing the same as them, then you're an outsider. Cast to the side. Left alone until you either do the same or walk away. Today, I walked away...again and I'm actually heartbroken about it. My friends and I have been through so much over the years. One in particular, Michelle, who took me in when I was homeless, gave me the support I needed when my dad died, when my mum and I stopped communicating, when I was at my lowest and needed to seek help. The one person who I helped overcome countless amount of miscarriages, her drink problem, her abuse problem from when she was a child, her kids being taken away from her for awhile. Then trying to helping her come off Heroin. I tried on 4 separate occasions to help her get clean and she kept going back, till she finally told me not to help her anymore. Should I have stayed and been the rock she needed? Am I to blame for now being an outsider because I actually walked away when she asked me to?

I know I dont want to be mixed up in their drug scene again. I've done my share of drugs over the years. I didnt want to get back into that but I shouldnt be punished for that, should I? I'm only human after all. I cried in my car for awhile because of it all. I lost part of my heart tonight. What is this shit you're probably asking? It's how I think. It's who I am. Minus my one solid rock...Michelle

Still nothing to do

This is getting beyond a joke! The boredom factor today took me to a Japanese site where I ended up learning some words. I've always wanted to learn Japanese and Spanish. So, I started with Japanese. Now dont quote me on the sayings I'm about to post. They might be wrong in some way..Remember, I'm just learning! If anyone reads this and I've done something wrong, please post a comment and let me know..

So, I learned how to say:-
hello = konnichiwa
you're welcome = doo itashimashite
thank you = arigatoo
thank you = arigatougozaimasu
thank you very much = domo arigatougozaimasu
welcome = irasshi
yes, thank you = un arigatoo
yes = hai
no = lie
please = doozo
please = onegaishimasu
goodnight = oyasuminasai
goodbye = sayonara
goodbye 2 = ittekimaus
moshi moshi = hello on the telephone
I've been driving people crazy on IRC with my new learnings and I shall carry on doing so. I'm going to carry on learning more stuff and then I'll start on spanish!

Finding something to do

I have this problem when I get really bored. I search for ages trying to find something to do and to post about but I'm lacking all creative inspiration at the moment. I need a muse!

Saying that, I did make south park pictures of myself. I made about 6 but I think this is the best one. Everyone should make one of themselves and you can find a link to do so on the blogroll.

I now face a problem...I have nothing to do now! I could chat on IRC to others but I cant be bothered holding a conversation. I could play a game on yahoo but I cant find anything of interest. I could clear stuff off my computer but that's more boring than being bored. I could go to bed but I'm not that tired and cant be bothered with my puppy licking my feet (just yet anyway). I could pick one of my 146 dvd's to watch but in all honesty...I've had a dvd playing over and over again and I'm not even paying attention to it. This is the net. I shouldnt really be bored, should I? I've already spent most of the day on blogexplosion. Looks like I might be heading back to look more. God, I'm so boring. No wonder I'm still single!

The day from hell

I dont think I've ever bitched on here. So here is a little bitch from me!

The day from hell, Tuesday 21st Sept, started off with me only having 4 hours sleep, which I dont actually mind. Something good kept me awake =)...it then carried on with me heading for my doctors appointment and being told I have the start of a bad skin rash, which is leading to me having to give a fasting blood sample at a very early time in the morning (which I'm in protest about) It then carried on with me having to spend time with my Gran, who is the salt of the earth but seriously needs killing at times and it makes matter worse that she shouts at my puppy for getting in her feet. HE'S A PUPPY, FOR CHRISTS SAKE! I then had trouble getting the daktacort cream, for my rash, from the pharmacist. So i have to suffer till tomorrow

The day from hell is about to get worse...On friday last week, my car broke down and it's been sitting out in the middle of nowhere since. Today, I managed to find someone to help me tow my car back beside my apartment/flat. He then had a look under the hood and uttered the words that sank me. "your car is fucked!" It seems that with my car overheating on friday, it's totally ruined my engine. Everything is fried. To get someone to fix it would cost a bomb. I could get a second hand engine but it'll still cost more than the car is worth (yes, my car is kind of a bucket of shit) So I've had to make the painful decision to scrap my car and look for a new one. I've not had it long and I didnt pay anything for it. It was given to me by a friend. Now I know why! So there's my day from hell. My little bitch. Boring, eh?

A must read for all!

On this blog, we have a link to fear and loathing in wanga vegas. It's a blog belonging to our good friend Anarchy. He's the man who inspired me to start a blog of my own, which then became a blog for Luna and myself.

Today, he showed me a link to one of his posts intitled International Rules Of Manhood and I can honestly say that I've not laughed so much at one post! SO I URGE ALL OUR VISITORS (and people coming here from blogexplosion) to check out his post and of course to admire his handy work! The post can be viewed here. GO GO GO GO thank you, please

Giant Pink Bunny

An enormous pink bunny has been erected on an Italian mountainside where it will stay for the next 20 years.

It's 200 foot long and was knitted by dozens of grannies out of pink wool.

I'm not going to copy everything it says in the article. I'll let you do that yourself.

You can read about the giant pink bunny here

Robbie news...

Found a great news website, some Robbie news...

Robbie Williams is set to star in the re-make of Saturday Night Fever.
The Bee Gees are said to be making a £20 million modern version of the hit 70's film and have ear-marked Robbie for the part of Tony Manero, originally played by John Travolta. A friend of the Gibb brothers said: " Robbie is the ideal candidate to play Tony - he can sing, dance, is a good-looking lad and has loads of charisma."

Robbie Williams won't release his new album Intensive Care in America.
Stung by a lack of success State-side the singer has resolved not to give Americans a taste of his new material reports contactmusic.com.
He says: "The only way one of my albums is going to get into an LA record store is if I leave it there myself."

Robbie Williams was paid £1million to sing at a birthday party - and gave it to charity.
Robbie, 31, sang to 300 guests at the 50th birthday bash of City broker Michael Spencer, says the Sun.
He sang for an hour, starting at midnight with Let Me Entertain You and finishing with Angels at Chateau Meuf de Grasse in the south of France.
One guest said: "It was an incredible party that must have cost at least £1.5million.
"It had everything money can buy and then some. The vintage wine and champagne included bottles worth thousands.
"When Robbie came on people could not believe that he was there playing to them in such an intimate venue. It was a night no one will forget."
Seventies band Sister Sledge also played, while two of France's top chefs provided food.
Mr Spencer is the UK's 138th richest man with £360million.

Upcoming Horror Movies : Update

Not much to update about the past horror movies I posted about, which can be viewed here

Saw II : New website to view new trailers. I've just glanced at this, so I dont know much about it. Go here to see for yourself

Creepshow 3 : Not much to confirm for this apart from one actor known to be in the movie. Eileen Dietz (who???)

Silent Hill : Not much here either. There's a photobucket link with movie set pictures for you to look at. Check it out here

While looking at the site I get information from, I noticed one movie that's still in the works. You'll probably all remember the I know what you did last summer movies? Well, there's a new one (god help us) called I'll always know what you did last summer. So far I know that Jennifer Love Hewitt and Fredie Prinze Jr. will not be in the movie and it's been reported that Don Shanks will be playing the killer. That's about all the news I have for now (information taken from upcominghorrormovies.com)

Hurricane Katrina...Additional

First of all, I have to thank Anarchy for this..I was surfing his blog, (link to his blog, Fear and Loathing In Wangavegas, can be found below in the list of links) and found this hilarious clip. http://thinkprogress.org/2005/09/08/cheney-runs-into-trouble-with-the-locals/ I think it pretty much sums up the way the people of New Orleans think at the moment. It's gotta be the catchphrase of the century. Amidst all the suffering and chaos, it's good to know that sometimes we can have a bit of a laugh. Enjoy it.

9/11

While watching a chatroom, I noticed someone bitching about there being alot of documentary programs about 9/11 on TV. Correct me if I'm wrong but this isnt a crime, right? It did effect so many countries. Not just America. So why shouldnt there be a documentary on TV about it? People still think and suffer to this day because of it and it's also educational for the younger generation, who were most likely too young to understand what happened on the actual day.

Most of these people appear to be from Britain. I'm not in any way trying to say that all people from Britain are small minded. I'm from the UK myself...what I'm trying to say is that there can be countless documentary stuff about England losing the World Cup or how the England manager likes to fuck around on his girlfriend, countless amount of news about how people are upset that England aint doing well and stuff...BIG DEAL! In my opinion, that type of news aint worth the time! 9/11 didnt effect me in that I knew someone who died in it, before anyone wants to judge me about my opinion. I do remember, and will remember for the rest of my life, what I was doing on that day.

I just think people should stop bitching and moaning about TV programs that focus on what happened on that day. Would they be less small minded if they knew someone who happened to be in the towers on that day? Would they be effected more if they happened to be there themselves and survived like so many didnt?. It baffles me, it really does!

Word Verification

Is it just me or does anyone else have a problem with the word verification when posting a reply on blogger? It seems to be that I have to enter 2 codes before my reply is added and I know I'm typing the first code correct. I'm not stupid. Not that it's taxing to type another code in. I just wondered if I was the only one this happened to!

South Park

For all those South Park fans out there!

Comedy Central and "South Park" creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone have renewed their contract in a deal that will keep the creative duo at the cable channel through the end of 2008
You can read more and discuss this here

I'm going to have a look later when my computer isnt being such a fag!

On another note...POST 60 FOR ME!!! sorry. had to be done!

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Being a huge Johnny Depp fan, I decided my movie to see this week would be Charlie. I honestly don't really like remakes, so I was prepared for the worst. I'd seen many a still picture from the movie..and Johnny looked good, so I thought, why not? As per usual, there wasn't many people in the cinema (that suits me fine) except for the disabled kids that are usually there, and make weird noises right throughout the film. Still, I had my choc bomb ice cream, I was set.
Sitting thru many a preview, watching the clips to Shark Boy and Lava Girl for the umpteenth time, I'm definitely going to go and see the new Harry Potter film. Judging by the clips, it looks like it's going to shit all over the others. But I digress.
So, approximately 2 hours later, I came out of the cinema with a huge grin on my face. I really enjoyed it! I do love Tim Burton's films, and this wasn't a disappointment. The story pretty much stuck to the original film script, of course there were a few changes. Which I thought was good. The Oompa-Loompah's were completely different, thank god for that. What I liked about them was, it was a regular actor, shrunk down of course, multiplied many times. The music was totally different too, much more of a "disco" style to it. Very camp. Christopher Lee starred also, as Willy Wonka's father. I don't remember the original movie touching on Willy's past. This one did. Great touch. The ending was different too, which I liked. I won't give anything else away, except that Johnny has great comedy skills. I really don't know why he doesn't do more comedy.
In conclusion, I recommend the film. Don't listen to when people say its too "dark" to bring kids. I think the kids would love it. I certainly didn't find anything in it that would upset or scare children. Not having read the book, I can't say whether or not this version was more true to Roald Dahl's vision than the first movie. But I thoroughly enjoyed it. If you see it, I hope you do too.

I Need Help..finding a song

If anyone can help. I know its a song from the 80's. The only line I can remember is "Give your love to a cowboy man. He's gonna love you hard(?) as he can". I've done a lyric search to no avail. I'd appreciate any help! Thank you!

Upcoming Horror Movies

Here's a few upcoming movies that I know I cant wait to find out more about....

Saw II. Serial killer Jigsaw is back, only this time instead of locking up two people in a room, he's got eight victims. They're all complete strangers and must play a disturbing game to determine who, if anyone, survives.
Starring: Donnie Wahlberg, Franky G., Glenn Plummer, Emmanuelle Vaugier, Beverley Mitchell, Eric Knudsen, Shawnee Smith, Dina Meyer, Tobin Bell
Release Date: Oct. 28, 2005 (is subject to change)
Offical Site: Here
It'll be interesting to see if it can stand up to the first Saw movie. I might wait for this to come out on dvd instead of going into the cinema to see it. Not too keen on sequels.

The Fog. This is a remake of John Carpenter's 1980 horror-thriller. Release date, that I know of, is Oct this year. I don't know much more about it at this time. Once I find out more, I post it for you all. Until then, you can take a look at the "The Fog" website
Like sequels, I'm not too keen on remakes. I own John Carpenter's The Fog on dvd and I'm interested to see if it can live up to it. With more special effects and the such these days, some movies/remakes tend to go overboard with the effects. I've only even seen a few remakes that I've actually enjoyed

Silent Hill. Based on the playstation computer game. Which I can proudly say I completed in 2 days! (borrowed it from someone who had been stuck on one stage for 3 months...later that day I got past that certain stage; for those who've played the game...it was the piano stage) Anyway...there's more about it here. Release date is set for April 21, 2006 (which is subject to change)

Creepshow 3. Now THIS I cant wait to see! I've been an avid fan of Creepshow for many years and only recently obtained both Creepshow 1 and 2 on dvd. Reminded me of my childhood (yes, I was a horror fan from a very early age. My mum says that when she was pregnant with me, she would beg my dad to take her to see horror movies and while they were watching them, I would kick nonestop. Needless to say, I've watched alot of horror movies) Release date will be sometime in 2006. There has been a couple of pictures shown from the movie, which can be looked at here and here. There is also a website and that can be looked at here. The bloody actress is Stephanie Pettee, who appears in the segment titled “Alice.” The other picture I have no details on. Sorry. It's the third installment of the George Romero/Stephen King-launched anthology series. The film, which neither King nor Romero have anything to do with (same goes for original series producer Richard Rubinstein), follows the format of the 1982 first film and features five creepy new stories. (Derived from King/Romero leftovers, 1987’s CREEPSHOW 2 boasted only three tales). When I find out more info, I'll post away, I promise. So keep an eye out for updates!

Neighbours...everybody needs good neighbours...

I NEED THEM. Ugh, the guy across the road hasn't stopped coming over for the last 3 days and I'm getting heartily sick of him. This is his story. He reckons he got drunk Thursday night, and his wife doesn't like him drinking. So she started in on him. Apparently he got so mad at her, he stuck his hands round her throat to stop her from verbally abusing him. So she packed her bags and left. GOOD FOR HER! I don't condone ANY form of violence to women AT ALL. Because he's got no friends or family in the vicinity, he's been here non stop, and I'm getting pissed off, I can't do my work with him here, nor can my dad. And he goes ON and ON about everything. I just had to put up with half an hour of diatribe, and all I asked him was how many brothers and sisters he has. I got his life story, which I've heard countless times in the 27 years we've been neighbours. I've had to make an excuse about going out this afternoon, just so I can get rid of him. Yet he's still here. Talking my poor dad's ear off. Anyway, as far as I'm concerned, he should be hung and quartered for putting his hands on his wife. You'd think he'd know better, at 64 years of age. Fucking asshole.

Robbie Williams : Intensive Care Album

After much searching and hair pulling, I've finally got ONE picture of Robbie Williams new album cover. There are other pictures I've seen in the newspaper but I cant find them online. I'll continue to search for them over the next few days to show you them..

Robbie Williams new album is called Intensive Care and it's release date is October 24. The album's first single, "Tripping," is described by Williams on his web site as "something like a mini-gangster opera." It will be issued to European radio outlets beginning September 5 ahead of its October 3 release at retail.
Intensive Care (EMI), which Williams has been recording in Los Angeles for the past two years, marks the follow-up to the 2003 chart-topper release Escapology and Williams will play a one-off show October 9 at the 12,000 capacity Velodrom in Berlin. The concert will be simultaneously broadcast at cinemas across Europe. Television broadcasts are also being lined up.
Robbie has become interested in tarot cards and he's become so fascinated by the spiritual world that he has based the artwork for his new album on it. The picture above is the main cover for the new album. You can't see it in the picture but on his fingertip is a symbol called sigil, which is a magical seal or device. Apparently it can be used to summon angels, demons or spirits. The artwork has been designed by Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely, who designed comic strips The Invisibles and Judge Dredd. This album will be Robbie's first without his previous songwriter partner Guy Chambers. Instead he worked with eighties star Stephen Tintin Duffy on the cd (when I find more pictures that will be involved with the album, I'll post them straight away)

Hurricane Katrina

Hurricane Katrina

After reading the link above, I talked with some friends about this and call it what you want but I agree with a statement from Luna...

they're all pissing and moaning about looting..people arent looting jewellery shops or stuff like that, they're looting for water and food

Now this I agree with. A small majority of assholes are causing so much grief by taking it upon themselves to shoot at people helping rescue others. They're small minded and only really want to cause more mayhem than has already happened. In my opinion, people looting for food and water should be overlooked. What harm are they actually causing? and the "white people find food and black people loot" WTF IS THIS?? and another question. Indonesia got flood relief. Will there be anything for New Orleans or will it be overlooked because America is suppose to be the most powerful country in the world? Is that what's it's going to come down too? The 100,000 people who decided to stay in the city..did they do so because they couldnt afford to leave? No transport, no help from others. Is this the way we're looking at the world now? Anyone care to leave a view? Do so with a comment, please. I'd be interested to see what people think

for all you car people out there

Driving SUCKS!

As you probably know, I've been taking driving lessons for a couple of weeks now. Yes, I know it's rather late for me to do so (for those who don't know me, I'm 34 years old, and never gotten my license). Well, I'm up to my 5th lesson now, and I'm TERRIBLE! My instructor, Lance, says I should be ready to take my test by mid November. As far as I'm concerned, I'll NEVER be good enough to drive! On my last lesson, he taught me how to parallel park, to reverse park, and to do U turns in the start of the street (there's a proper word for that, but I'm screwed if I can remember what it is). I can do the U turns pretty well, can parallel park OK if there are no other cars in the vicinity, but reverse parallel park? NO WAY! I have NO idea what he's talking about, that the side mirror has to be lined up with this thing, that the wheels have to be this far away from the kerb..uhh like I cant see the fucking wheels! I can barely keep the damn steering wheel straight! I've run up kerbs, put my foot on the accelerator instead of the brake, pulled out in front of oncoming cars, I'm hopeless! He says I should be learning more in my dad's car, between lessons, but I seriously don't trust myself. At least in the learning car, he has brakes on the passenger side, so if I do fuck up, he can use his! I really don't think I'll ever get the hang of driving, and that's not good, because I'll not be a safe driver. Hopefully I can change that, but, after 5 lessons, if I can't even do something as simple as turning a corner without going up the kerb, I don't think I'll ever get the hang of it.

Google's Instant Messenger

Google talk

ok. so I got this yesterday and spent some time on it talking to someone. Here's my opinion on it....

It's aight! nah, the call opinion is cool and that's what I've spent most of the time on. It does cut off sometimes for no reason. It sometimes wont let me talk back to the person. Maybe that's because I'm on dial-up...I've not figured that out yet. That gets very annoying cause I end up talking to myself. It's really basic and it also doesnt tell you when someone has come online. Granted, at the moment, I only have 2 people on my list (I'm popular) but I'd like to know when a contact has either gone offline or come online. I don't feel like I'm asking for much. It also wont let you change backgrounds, font colour (that I know of), doesnt have emoticons and you cant have a display picture like on msn and yahoo and as far as I can tell, it doesnt log convos...the sounds are cool though and I dont mind them. On yahoo I did and switched them off.
It's just come out so I would think other things will be added over time..I'll stick it out and see how it goes. Just need to find others to add to my list
