Think...THINK !!

Isn't it annoying when you've been in your car, maybe listening to the radio because your cd player still hasnt been fitted yet, and you hear a song that sounds quite catchy and you think to yourself:

"I need to get that downloaded! MEMO TO SELF..remember some of the lyrics to type into google because you'll most likely not remember the band or the song name"

Just me then?! I've got that problem right now. I've heard a song on the radio and really wanted it downloaded. I've heard it over and over again and I assumed I would remember the lyrics...

HOW WRONG WAS I? I've been sitting for about an hour trying to remember the lyrics. I know there's the word "shit" faded out so you don't hear it on the radio....and that's about all I remember.

I'm listening to my local radio online in the hope that the song will be played. Knowing my luck I wont hear it until I'm back in the car, driving to my mum's 50 miles away....

with no way to download anything but a chance that I can jot down what the band and song is!!

but then I'll most likely forget about that piece of paper and I'll be back to square one. GOD DAMNIT!

Till the time I can find out the name of the band and song, and post and tell anyone who's interested (which is probably the population of about -5000) I shall leave you with a vid of Mika singing Big Girl (You Are Beautiful) Love this song!!

Feel

I wanted to post lyrics for a song sung by Robbie Williams. It pretty much sums up my last few days and how I've been feeling..

Feel

Come and hold my hand
I wanna contact the living
Not sure I understand
This role I´ve been given
I sit and talk to God
And he just laughs at my plans
My head speaks a language
I don´t understand

I just want to feel real love
Fill the home that I live in
Cause I got too much life
Running through my veins
Going to waste

I don´t want to die
But I ain´t keen on living either
Before I fall in love
I´m preparing to leave her
I scare myself to death
That´s why I keep on running
Before I´ve arrived
I can see myself coming

I just want to feel real love
Fill the home that I live in
Cause I got too much life
Running through my veins
Going to waste
And I need to feel real love
And a life ever after
I cannot get enough

I just want to feel real love
Fill the home that I live in
I got too much love
Running through my veins
To go to waste
I just wanna feel real love
In a life ever after
There´s a hole in my soul
You can see it in my face
It´s a real big place

Come and hold my hand
I want to contact the living
Not sure I understand
This role I´ve been given
Not sure I understand
Not sure I understand
Not sure I understand
Not sure I understand

Rudebox

The much awaited album from Robbie Wliiams has arrived!!

Rudebox hit the UK stores today and although I dont always buy an album on release day, I headed out to ASDA and grabbed a copy.
I think you'll agree that £8.78 is a good price to buy an album (album with special features cost £14.99)

Here's a list of the songs featured:

-Rudebox
-Viva Life on Mars
-Lovelight
-Bongo Bong and Je Ne T'aime Plus
-She's Madonna
-Keep On
-Good Doctor
-The Actor
-Never Touch That Switch
-Louise
-We're The Pet Shop Boys
-Burslem Normals
-Kiss me
-The 80's
-The 90's
-Summertime

All the songs I've listened to so far are brilliant. A lot of people have said that it's a strange Robbie sound and that it wont work but I think if he releases the good songs off the album, people will love it and he'll continue to grow. Robbie has done a lot in his career and this is just a chance for him to see what other talent he has. I already liked Lovelight. Now I'm digging Kiss Me, The 80's and 90's and Rudebox has grown slowly on me. It's a must for every Robbie Williams fan. And here's a little something extra for all you fans. We've got a Rudebox designer page for you to play about with and on Amazon have a little vid clip of backstage goings on during his recent tour.

song for the girls

For all the females out there. You've probably seen it before but here ya go!

At first I was afraid, I was petrified.
When you said you had 10 inches, Lord I almost died!
But I'd spent so many years just waiting for a man that long,
That I grew strong, And I knew that I could take you on...

But there you are, another lie,
I was ready for a Big Mac and you've brought me a French Fry!
I should have known that it was bullshit, just a sad pathetic dream
Should have known there was no Anaconda lurking in those jeans!

Go on now..GO!, Walk out the door,
Don't you promise me 10 inches, then turn up with only 4!
Weren't you a brat to think I wouldn't find you out!?
Don't you know we're only joking when we say size don't count??!!

[Chorus]
I will survive! I will survive!
Cuz as long as I have batteries,
My sex life's gonna thrive!
I will always have good sex,
with a handful of latex!
I will survive! I will survive! Hey! Hey!

It took all my self control not to laugh out loud,
When I saw your little weiner standing tall and proud!
But to hell with your ego and to hell with all your needs,
Now I'm saving all my lovin' for a cordless multispeed!

I will survive! I will survive!
Cuz as long as I have batteries,
My sex life's gonna thrive!
I will always have good sex,
with a handful of latex!
I will survive! I will survive! Hey! Hey!

Take That and party!!!

Dispite the bad news about Tamarin, I've been reliving my youth with the news that, and I'm gonna make this bold for all to see, TAKE THAT ARE GETTING BACK TOGETHER!!!!

For those who don't know who or what Take That is, I shall tell you! Take That were the biggest boyband in the 90's. They were HUGE in the UK and the rest of the world (apart from America. They have no taste!) The members were Gary Barlow, Robbie Williams, Mark Owen, Howard Donald and Jason Orange. In 1995, Robbie left and embarked on a solo career, which didnt get off to a good start. He was plagued with drug and alcohol abuse for years but has since then turned himself around and has become one of the biggest household names of his time! After Robbie's depart, the other four members carried on with touring and music making but in Feb 1996, they split. I remember the day I watched the press conference. I was watching with my mum and dad and once it finished, I ran upstairs and started to cry. I cried for about a day. If you think that's sad, then you should hear what others did. One girl killed herself because they split and they set up a helpline for others who felt that they couldnt go on anymore.

The reunion, which will last for 11 days, 8 arena tour, will take place throughout the UK and Ireland starting off in Newcastle Metro Radio arena on the 24th April 2006. Robbie failed to turn up to a reunion supper, with the other members, not too long ago. This tour will make EACH member £1.5m richer. Robbie has been included in the offer but it's not yet known if he will take part. If that's the case, they'll tour without him. Anyway..if you want to read about it all, you can do so by clicking here. Once again...I'M SO HAPPY!!!

Reality

steals Nenni's idea cause I got a Great song I love and have been listing to and it's words have great meaning to me and I hope They will for anyone that will read this

Reality - by Newsboys

"Mom &Dad,
I'm fine. How are you? I have joined a small circus (that much
is true). I'm a little malnourished, but try to relax. Could you
find
a better photo for the milk carton backs?

Send money."

Runaway
where's your head?
dreamers' dreams
are grounded

in reality
that comes from above
God is calling
there's no bigger love
It's his reality that welcomes us back
Trust and obey
there is no other way

"Mom &Dad,

I'm fair. How's life? Lent the money you sent me to the clown
with the knife. My career as an acrobat hasn't begun, but
I'm busy giving blood and shoveling elephant dung.

Send money."

Runaway
Why so tense?
dreamers' dreams
will make sense

in reality
that comes from above
God is calling
there's no bigger love
It's his reality that welcomes us back
Trust and obey
there is no other way

Runaway
blowing smoke
your folks are worried
and going broke

after the fall
is an all-new episode
reality
is the high road

Shining

I've not posted lyrics on here before but I love this song and have had it on repeat for over 30 minutes...

Call it over, call it gone, call it nothing
see what you've gone and done.
Call it stupid, call it wrong, call it reckless
see what we've gone and done.

Who am I to break this young girl's heart?
How the mighty rise and fall.

I will not be beaten. You have yet to see me shining, shining.
I wont take this lying down.
I will not be beaten. You have yet to see me shining, shining.
I wont take this lying down.

Call me sunday, call me soon, call me heartless, call me to your room.
Call me lonely, call me lame, call me blind and foolish just to spare you from the blame.

Who am I to break this young girl's heart?
How the mighty rise and fall.

I will not be beaten. You have yet to see me shining, shining
I wont take this lying down.
I will not be beaten. You have yet to see me shining, shining
I wont take this lying down.

I will not be beaten. You have yet to see me shining, shining
I wont take this lying down.

80's music

First off, I would just like to thank Luna for helping me relive my youth and helping revive very old memories that I had pushed to the back of my head. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, sweetie!

Most people remember that 80's music was kinda retro. You have to agree there. Even some youth of today like 80's music and I have to say that it was the best era to grow up in, IMHO. While talking with Luna and rob in chat, I mentioned that there was a song I loved when I was 4. My brother and I would dance to it at my grans. Me waving ballons in the air and then sulking when my dad took one from me and gave it to my brother. When my brother died at the age of 20 months, the record was hidden away with the rest of his stuff. So I sort of forgot all about it. The song I'm talking about it Toto Coelo - I Eat Cannibals. Brings back some old memories and I've spent the last 40 minutes listening and thinking back. It's been over 20 years since I last heard the song in full and some of you might be reading this and thinking "I think I remember that song!" If that is the case, then here is a little teaser of the lyrics..

I eat cannibal, Feed on animal. Your love is so edible to me. I eat cannibals. I eat cannibal, It's incredible. You bring out the animal in me. I eat cannibals

Ring a bell with anyone? If so, let me know what your memories are of the song, if you have any and if anyone would like a copy of the song, let myself or Luna know. I'm sure we'll be more than happy to send you a copy of the mp3. I've also searched for the lyrics to the song, just incase anyone wants to read over them. You can do so by clicking here.

Robbie news...

Found a great news website, some Robbie news...

Robbie Williams is set to star in the re-make of Saturday Night Fever.
The Bee Gees are said to be making a £20 million modern version of the hit 70's film and have ear-marked Robbie for the part of Tony Manero, originally played by John Travolta. A friend of the Gibb brothers said: " Robbie is the ideal candidate to play Tony - he can sing, dance, is a good-looking lad and has loads of charisma."

Robbie Williams won't release his new album Intensive Care in America.
Stung by a lack of success State-side the singer has resolved not to give Americans a taste of his new material reports contactmusic.com.
He says: "The only way one of my albums is going to get into an LA record store is if I leave it there myself."

Robbie Williams was paid £1million to sing at a birthday party - and gave it to charity.
Robbie, 31, sang to 300 guests at the 50th birthday bash of City broker Michael Spencer, says the Sun.
He sang for an hour, starting at midnight with Let Me Entertain You and finishing with Angels at Chateau Meuf de Grasse in the south of France.
One guest said: "It was an incredible party that must have cost at least £1.5million.
"It had everything money can buy and then some. The vintage wine and champagne included bottles worth thousands.
"When Robbie came on people could not believe that he was there playing to them in such an intimate venue. It was a night no one will forget."
Seventies band Sister Sledge also played, while two of France's top chefs provided food.
Mr Spencer is the UK's 138th richest man with £360million.

I Need Help..finding a song

If anyone can help. I know its a song from the 80's. The only line I can remember is "Give your love to a cowboy man. He's gonna love you hard(?) as he can". I've done a lyric search to no avail. I'd appreciate any help! Thank you!

Robbie Williams : Intensive Care Album

After much searching and hair pulling, I've finally got ONE picture of Robbie Williams new album cover. There are other pictures I've seen in the newspaper but I cant find them online. I'll continue to search for them over the next few days to show you them..

Robbie Williams new album is called Intensive Care and it's release date is October 24. The album's first single, "Tripping," is described by Williams on his web site as "something like a mini-gangster opera." It will be issued to European radio outlets beginning September 5 ahead of its October 3 release at retail.
Intensive Care (EMI), which Williams has been recording in Los Angeles for the past two years, marks the follow-up to the 2003 chart-topper release Escapology and Williams will play a one-off show October 9 at the 12,000 capacity Velodrom in Berlin. The concert will be simultaneously broadcast at cinemas across Europe. Television broadcasts are also being lined up.
Robbie has become interested in tarot cards and he's become so fascinated by the spiritual world that he has based the artwork for his new album on it. The picture above is the main cover for the new album. You can't see it in the picture but on his fingertip is a symbol called sigil, which is a magical seal or device. Apparently it can be used to summon angels, demons or spirits. The artwork has been designed by Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely, who designed comic strips The Invisibles and Judge Dredd. This album will be Robbie's first without his previous songwriter partner Guy Chambers. Instead he worked with eighties star Stephen Tintin Duffy on the cd (when I find more pictures that will be involved with the album, I'll post them straight away)

I Recommend..

That you download this song. Fear Factory - Bite The Hand That Bleeds. It's the end credits song from SAW. I'm just totally stuck on it at the moment!
