Movie Review - The Grudge (2004)

(First off, This is going to be my first of Four Movie Reviews today and reason why I'm starting off with a Movie from 2004, well it's the first in the set of 4 movies, The Grudge, Ju-On, The Grudge 2, and Ju-On 2)

The Grudge (Ju-On)
Released (October 22, 2004)
Rating (PG-13 for mature thematic material, disturbing images, terror, violence and some sensuality.)
Directed by (Takashi Shimizu)
Starring (Sara Michelle Gellar, Jason Behr, William Mapother, Clea DuVall, KaDee Strickland)

(My Review)

Ok I know That there are so much critism about this movie
"It wasn't scary"
"It had Sara Michelle Gellar in it"

Reviews from some papers
(Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Bob Longingo
"Ultimately, it's a decent enough idea for a Halloween horror trick.")
(Boston Globne, Wesley Morris
"the movie feels like a salvo against the recent string of American Japonophila.")

Well I have also seen User reviews some liked it and some didn't some claim that Ju-On the Japanese version of this movie is better, Me I say it is in some ways but There is something about America and it's talent that can do that Japanese can't do so well, That's in it's Special Effects This movie isn't for the faint at heart, that don't mean that many will be scared from this movie, best way to see any horror movie is at the theaters, if you missed this at the theaters then You missed a great movie, only way to enjoy this movie is to turn up the surround sound turn the lights out and at night, and no one else is moving around

This movie is about a Curse That was Born upon a house in Japan and an american Caretaker gets assigned to take care of an elderly women at the house, This sets the story, but you quickly find out why it's a cursed house, a Grudge was set upon this house, a Relentless Grudge that kills everyone that it sets it's eye on, no one can escape this Grudge.

My Raiting - Overall (A)
Story - (A+)
Acting - (A)
Visual - (A+)
Direction - (A)
Scare Factor -(7/10)
