Blood Donation

Today, after a rush last minute decision, I agreed to go with my friend, Susan, to give blood for the second time in my life.

I was lacking in my attempts to make sure I gave blood regular. Nurse told me it was nearly 2 years since I last donated. I got my free badge for donating. Chuffed, is me. I'm scared of needles but once you've got passed that horrid needle part, it's no problem at all. So everyone should head out to your nearest blood donation center and give up a pint of your blood. You'll feel good with yourself if you do.

Not a lot of people actually give blood these days. So many people need your blood to survive. So please look into giving blood. Your good deed will help saves lives.
